There's a reason this place is called Hammerman's. The craftsmen who gave the venue its name — goldsmiths, blacksmiths, silversmiths, clockmakers — built Golden Square itself in the early 1800s. The streets that surround us are named after their trade: Crown Street, Silver Street, Diamond Lane, Ruby Place. This neighbourhood has been shaped by people who took their craft seriously. Just like the Atrium, they focus on Scottish classics with a twist and they often update their menus to use seasonal local produce 🫶🏼 Their menu offers 3 small plates for £25, this included weekends too🤩 To recap, we ordered: 🐓 Big Phat Greek chicken skewers 🐑 Shawarma lamb meatballs 🥔Hash brown bites 🥚 Smoked haddock and chive scotch egg 🐠 Scampi tacos 🟤 Haggis pakora 🐷 Whisky glazed pork belly bites The menu is split into meat, fish and veg and we managed to cover a lot of it, but there’s still so much more I want to try😍 Everything was delicious!😍😋 Lots of flavour and cooked perfectly! Just like the Atrium, they focus on Scottish classics with a twist and they often update their menus to use seasonal local produce 🫶🏼 Their menu offers 3 small plates for £25, this included weekends too🤩 To recap, we ordered: 🐓 Big Phat Greek chicken skewers 🐑 Shawarma lamb meatballs 🥔Hash brown bites 🥚 Smoked haddock and chive scotch egg 🐠 Scampi tacos 🟤 Haggis pakora 🐷 Whisky glazed pork belly bites The menu is split into meat, fish and veg and we managed to cover a lot of it, but there’s still so much more I want to try😍 Everything was delicious!😍😋 Lots of flavour and cooked perfectly!
