Cos when I tell you we rolled out the door after this visit to @hammermansrestaurantandbar - I mean we ROLLED! 🐷 Hammerman’s have recently launched a new and updated Small Plates menu. You can order 3 plates for £25 which is such good value for the portion sizes. We ordered 6 to share and @alistairlaing ordered a 7th plate cos he was super hungry after a big training session (he’s currently training for an Ironman 🤯). Which even he admitted in hindsight defo wasn’t needed cos he was soooo full 😂 I love that the menu is small plates, but with a Scottish twist - expect haggis, black pudding, whisky, venison 🏴 And there’s such a good variety of meat, fish and veggie options - plus some tasty sounding nibbles too 😋 For dessert Alistair went for the orange posset and I couldn’t resist the sound of the rice pudding arancini, which comes with a warm dulce de leche - the perfect finish for my sweet tooth. And can we take a moment to appreciate the lovely Abbie 🙌🏼 She was our fabulous server and looked after us so well. You know when you just feel 100% comfortable and relaxed because they’ve got everything under control? She was even one step ahead and preempting our needs too.
