📍 Hammerman’s, Aberdeen 🥂[Invite/ad/] I was very kindly invited along to Hammerman’s in Aberdeen to try some of their small plates! I’ve been in a couple of times for drinks & I’ve been wanting to try the food as it looked so good 😍 Everything on their menu is designed for sharing, which I loved - it’s the best way to try different things 🤭 Hammerman’s is situated just off Golden Square & is the sister venue of @atriumaberdeen which I already knew was 10/10 😍 Just like The Atrium, they focus on Scottish classics with twists, & they use seasonal local produce ❤️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Their menu offers 3 small plates for £25 which is such a good deal as a lot of them are priced at ~£10🤩 It was so hard to decide, we’d even perused the menu in advance & still couldn’t decide 🤣 I like that they divide the menu by land, sea & veg too🤩 We opted for: 🍔 Sliders 💛 Mini rowie stack 🍯 Sticky honey & soy pork belly 🥚 Golden lorne scotch egg 🧡 Irn bru glazed chicken wings 🐙 Salt & pepper squid 🥔 Parmesan hash brown bites To drink, we had: 🍍 Pineapple & ginger fizz 🍓 Berry bramble 🌊 North Sea Garden 🧡 Pornstar Martini For pud, we had: 🤎 Sticky toffee 🩷 Raspberry shortcake The food was super delicious, we really enjoyed it all😍😋 Our favourites were the scotch egg & the pork belly 😍😋 It was all very flavoursome & presented beautifully, I’d like to go back for the truffle macaroni & blaggis bon bons 😋 The drinks were lovely, I really enjoyed the North Sea Garden 😍😋 My boyfriend was was on the mocktails & really enjoyed them 😋 They make their own syrups for the mocktails/cocktails too! 😍 The desserts were so scrummy, both were delish 🤎 The staff were lovely & service was very good 🫶🏼 I like that they divided it by land, sea and veg too🤩 There are gf, dairy free, veggie & vegan options available too 🌱 The restaurant is very pretty with the flower decor & blossom trees 🌸 They also have live music on Saturdays, the guy was a great guitarist/singer which created a brilliant atmosphere 🎶 They’re also taking part in @aberdeencocktailweek 🥂 Thank you again to @hammermansrestaurantandbar for having us 🫶🏼

AD Invite ✨ Revisited Hammerman’s with my mate Marie and it is still one of the most stunning venues in Aberdeen. From the floral décor and soft lighting to the wooden panelling, silver velvet booths and those iconic cherry blossom trees, it’s a proper statement setting that feels both classy and relaxed at the same time. They’re currently running a 3 small plates for £25 menu, with a strong Scottish twist and loads of variety, perfect for sharing or trying a bit of everything. We kicked things off with the North Sea Spritz and Berry Bramble mocktails (£6.95), the bramble was a standout, really fresh and flavourful, while the spritz was still refreshing, just lighter on the elderflower than expected. Staff were quick to remedy this when asked. The server was absolutely lovely too and had great chat. For food we went for: • Mini Rowie Stack • Blaggis Bon Bons • Sticky Honey & Soy Pork Belly • Golden Lorne Scotch Egg • Golden Lemon Sole Goujons • Irn Bru Glazed Cauliflower Wings sides of rosemary salted skin on fries & parmesan hash brown bites The highlights for me were definitely the pork belly and Irn Bru cauliflower wings, both packed with flavour. The mini rowie stack tasted good, just a fair bit firmer than expected, unsure whether that was from being baked or if there were just a bit stale? It’s the kind of place that works for date nights, pre-drinks with friends, or a chilled evening with good food and cocktails.
