We are a Scottish small plates restaurant and cocktail bar at 1 Golden Square — right in the heart of Aberdeen — built around honest food, great drinks, and a venue that makes every occasion feel special.

    The Menu

    Our menu brings Scottish food to Aberdeen city centre.

    Our menu is rooted in Scotland from the first bite to the last — Angus beef, Scottish seafood, haggis, Highland venison and seasonal veg. Everything on our Scottish small plates menu is cooked with care by our kitchen team, led by Executive Head Chef Matthew Stewart. Any 3 plates for £25. Designed for sharing, built for lingering.

    Whether you're in the mood for whisky-glazed pork belly bites, a smoked haddock and chive Scotch egg, Shetland mussels in vermouth and nduja cream, or a Truffle Mac & Cheese that earns its place on any Aberdeen menu — Hammerman's has something for everyone. And a dessert menu worth saving room for. Most plates £9, with the deal: any 3 for £25.

    Hammerman's Restaurant & Cocktail Bar is at 1 Golden Square, Aberdeen, AB10 1RD. A short walk from Union Street and Aberdeen city centre. Open Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm, Friday and Saturday from 12pm, Sunday from 12pm. Food served until 9pm every day. Reservations recommended.

If you're a lover of picky bits and small plates and want to try somewhere different in Aberdeen, I'd definitely recommend @hammermansrestaurantandbar 🍸 We visited back in August and were really pleased with the quality of food. They have a deal on Small Plates but the portion sizes are anything but! Our favourites were the fish tacos and haddock scotch egg 🥚🍳. The interior is lovely decorated though admittedly we felt slightly crammed in on our table of two - we struggled for space with all the dishes we ordered (though maybe that was our fault). There's lots more I'd like to try so I'll definitely be back! #aberdeeneats #aberdeenfood
