The kitchen at Hammerman's is a proper team effort. Executive Chef Ryan Pirie oversees both venues, but it's Head Chef Matthew Stewart and Senior Sous Chef Adam Stewart who bring the menus to life day to day — and the food is all the better for it. Everything here is designed for sharing — order three, order more, pass things around the table and see what everyone else got. Local produce runs through everything: Peterhead haddock, Aberdeen Angus beef, Isle of Mull smoked cheddar, Mackie's ice cream. Scotland's larder is extraordinary when you use it properly. This team uses it properly.

From the Land
Proper Scottish comfort. Done properly.
Aberdeen Angus sliders, haggis pakora, whisky-glazed pork belly, shawarma lamb meatballs and slow-braised Highland venison pie. The land section is rooted in Scotland from the first bite to the last.
From the Sea
Scotland's coastline on a plate.
Shetland mussels in vermouth and nduja cream. Beetroot-cured salmon with whisky aioli. Crispy scampi tacos. Smoked haddock and chive Scotch egg. The sea around Scotland is extraordinary — and it shows.
From the Garden
For those who know that vegetables deserve better than an afterthought.
Creative, seasonal, and genuinely satisfying — the garden section holds its own against anything else on the menu.

A proper kids menu — two courses, two quid less than a coffee.
Families are welcome at Hammerman's. Our dedicated kids menu features two courses crafted with the same care as the rest of the kitchen — mini fish and chips, Greek chicken skewers, beef sliders with grilled cheese, mac & cheese, breaded scampi, and tomato penne pasta. Finish with a brownie sundae, ice cream or sticky toffee pudding. Vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options available throughout.
