The kitchen at Hammerman's is a proper team effort. Executive Chef Ryan Pirie oversees both venues, but it's Head Chef Matthew Stewart and Senior Sous Chef Adam Stewart who bring the menus to life day to day — and the food is all the better for it. Everything here is designed for sharing — order three, order more, pass things around the table and see what everyone else got. Local produce runs through everything: Peterhead haddock, Aberdeen Angus beef, Isle of Mull smoked cheddar, Mackie's ice cream. Scotland's larder is extraordinary when you use it properly. This team uses it properly.
